During a trunk show, we receive never-before-seen dresses that brides are able to try on and purchase through special incentives offered by the designer.

What is a Trunk Show: A trunk show is a special event organized by the bridal shop with the help of its designers. Dresses in a trunk show are from the newest collection and aren’t available in stores unless seen at a trunk show. This is an exciting opportunity for brides to see the latest in bridal fashion.

Why Should Brides Attend: For certain trunk shows, the designer will offer a special incentive for the brides to purchase so it is always a good idea to bring someone with you whose opionion is valuable to you; bring the decision makers.

Do You Need an Appointment: Most bridal shops work by appointments on a day to day basis but it is especially important to book ahead for a trunk show so you are certain that a consultant can set time aside to work with you.

Eve of Milady Runway Show with LOTS of press coverage

We also visited with Essense of Australia, one of our moderately priced designers with dresses ranging from $1200 – $1800 and chose which gowns we will have in the store. This is a price point that many of our brides are comfortable with and we made sure to choose the best of the collection!  We also stopped by and saw the extraordinary Eve of Milady and Amalia Carrera runway show which made us very excited to meet with the designer and choose pieces for our West Bloomfield store.
